Raggedy Ann and Andy Talking Alarm Clock

Raggedy Ann and Andy Talking Alarm Clock was made by Janex in 1974.

Raggedy Ann wakes you saying:
"Andy, Andy, please get up. It's time to call our friends. Ok, Ann, I'm awake, let's shout it once again. We were sent to wake you, so here we are to say, 'Please get up, brush your teeth and start your Happy Day.'"

I had this clock when I was a child. My mom had decorated my room in a Raggedy Ann theme. I also had a set of 4-5 Raggedy Ann dolls that varied in sizes. I also received a Raggedy Ann Colorforms set. I will write more about them later!

  1. Wow, I had this too. I LOVED that clock! Spent one Christmas morning watching the hands go around for what seemed like hours waiting to wake up my family. Great memories!

  3. Love this! When I was six, my sister had this alarm clock. We woke up and left the house earlier on Christmas morning than we planned. When we got home the alarm clock had been going off for hours and was playing at a very slow speed. Ann & Andy didn't sound so happy then!

  7. I had that clock as well. My mom died in 1974. I had a raggedy ann doll given to me from my 4th grade class teacher. I also just realized this year when putting up the christmas tree that the one bulb that I have of raggedy ann and andy, the date on it is 1974. It made me think of my mom this year.

I loved the clock. I love Raggedy Ann and Andy. It's a shame that they are hard to find in stores.

  8. We also had the clock when I was growing up. Someone should make it a ring tone. I would love to set it up as my phones alarm.
