The Golden Girls

The Golden Girls was a sitcom that aired on NBC from 1985 to 1992. The show centered on four older women sharing a Miami, Florida home.

The owner of the house is widow Blanche Devereaux, who had recently been joined by widow Rose Nylund and divorcee Dorothy Zbornak, who had both responded to a room for rent ad on the bulletin board of a local grocery store. The three were later joined by Dorothy's mother, Sophia Petrillo, when Sophia's retirement home, Shady Pines, burned down.
