1983 CBS "We've Got the Touch" Promo

We've Got the Touch is the name of a CBS campaign from 1983. Shows highlighted in these two promos include The Jeffersons, Dallas, Dukes of Hazard, One Day at a Time, Alice, Trapper John, MD, Knots Landing, Magnum PI, Simon and Simon and Newhart.

    My hometown station in Louisiana had their own version of this that they played during commercial breaks, that was a very twangy Country tune. I still have it ringing in my ears from time to time.

    Wow, looking at old these old promos on your blog, the difference is striking. Not as much pride in the USA these days :(
