Land of the Lost was a children's television series that ran from 1974–1976 and was co-created and produced by Sid and Marty Krofft.Land of the Lost detailed the adventures of the Marshall family (father Rick, his son Will, and younger daughter Holly) who are trapped in an alternate universe inhabited by dinosaurs, a primate-type people called Pakuni, and aggressive humanoid/lizard creatures called Sleestak. The episode storylines focused on the family's efforts to survive and find a way back to their own world, but the exploration of the exotic features of the Land of the Lost was also an ongoing part of the story.

I hated this show when I was a kid. It was very creepy and kind of scary. I was only 7-9 years old when it was on but I had older brothers and sisters that would watch it. I just wanted them to get back to their time. I didn't like HR Pufnstuf either. I did like their cartoons though Electra Woman and Dyna Girl and Wonderbug.
