This ad was one of the last to feature that jingle - in '72 they tried an ad titled "The Hometown of the Jolly Green Giant" which was only shown a few times and then abandoned. The ad was weird - he's in the big city and you can actually see his face! They had a new jingle too which was only used in that ad. After that, they introduced "The Little Green Sprout" and they were in ads together until the late '80s when they stopped using the Giant in ads altogether.
