Silly Putty

Who didn't have Silly Putty when they were kids?!? Silly Putty is the Crayola owned trademark name for a class of silicone polymers that is marketed today as a toy for children. It was originally created by accident during research into potential rubber substitutes for use by the United States in World War II.

It is sold as a 13 g (0.46 oz) piece of plastic clay inside an egg-shaped plastic container. It is available in various colors, including glow-in-the-dark and metallic.

Slinky

Slinky is a toy consisting of a helical spring that stretches and can bounce up and down. It can perform a number of tricks, including traveling down a flight of steps end-over-end as it stretches and re-forms itself with the aid of gravity and its own momentum.

The jingle in the Slinky 1962 commercial became the longest-running jingle in advertising history.

Everyone sing along!!

"What walks down stairs, alone or in pairs, and makes a slinkity sound?
A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing! Everyone knows it's Slinky.
It's Slinky, it's Slinky. For fun it's a wonderful toy.
It's Slinky, it's Slinky. It's fun for a girl or a boy."
