If you were a girl during the 1980’s, and you had friends, you probably were given friendship pins and bracelets. . .and, more than likely, you created a multitude of your own and gave them away to all of your girlfriends as well.If you were a proud recipient of a coveted friendship pin, you proudly displayed it (along with every other friendship pin that you received) on your tennis shoes, attaching them to your shoe laces. Whether you wore leather hi-top Reeboks, kangaroos, jazz shoes or a worn out pair of Chuck Taylor’s, if you had friends, you had pins on your shoes.

I don't know a lot about this stool but I had one just like it when I was a child. In doing a little research, I've found that it most likely dates from the late 1950's to the early 1960's. It had a padded top that was covered in vinyl. As you can see, the Donald Duck graphic was large and very colorful.
